Clark Coleman

The discovery front-end of the studio. Tool-agnostic by design; opinionated by output.

Clark leads the discovery tier of the studio. If a prospective client isn’t yet sure what they should build — or whether they should build anything at all — the conversation usually starts with him.

His methodology is deliberately tool-neutral. RPA, workflow automation, LLMs, agents, and process redesign are all first-class options; the right recommendation for a specific opportunity is whichever one earns the return with the least fragile machinery. That’s the whole reason this partnership exists — Axonomic Labs specialises in AI, and recommendations that specialise in AI are the ones we can’t trust ourselves to make.

The assessment work draws from a catalogue of automation opportunities across ten department functions — Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, Procurement, Risk, IT, Customer Service, Executive, and Consulting. Each function comes with a library of thirty-plus concrete process patterns, worked examples, and a decision matrix for which technology family fits which problem shape.

Clark’s stock in trade is turning a vague “we should be doing something with AI” into a ranked, ROI-costed opportunity register a board can act on. Whether the ranked list points at us afterwards is a separate question.
